Come to Monona Terrace on Wednesday mornings and enjoy this eclectic and educational program designed for children ages four and up. A wide variety of local performers, artists, and organizations provide entertainment, hands-on fun, and learning. In the event of inclement weather, outdoor programs will be moved inside. Please call 608.261.4000 after 8:30 a.m. the day of the event for program location.
If transporting kids by bus, please call Don Adams, CPS Parking at 608.957.6355 or e-mail DAdams@PARKING.COM at least 48 hours prior to event.

Scout Workshops

Troop Tours for all Scout Levels
Scouts will explore how this iconic Madison building, designed by famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright, is inspired by its environment and simple geometry. Dates and times of tours can be customized for the group.

Think like architects! Design and build with a variety of materials…
*Experience Froebel Blocks, used by Frank Lloyd Wright as a youth.
*Work in groups to construct large scale structures with interlocking cardboard discs.
*See how your creations connect to Wright’s architecture at Monona Terrace.
Use your keen observation skills and look for clues to solve an architectural mystery at Frank Lloyd Wright’s Madison masterpiece… Monona Terrace! Explore the building, study drawings and plans, and discover the secret language of architecture. Scouts will complete all requirements for this badge.
Have you ever thought that you could improve the things you use every day? Your backpack, a water bottle, a phone? Here’s your chance to innovate and try out new ideas for the next great product! Facilitators include a team of product designers from the Madison design firm Design Concepts. Scouts will complete all requirements for this badge.
