Community Programs

Lakeside Kids

Children ages 4 and up are invited to come and play at Lakeside Kids! This free children’s series is held on Wednesday mornings from 10:00 – 11:00 am during the months of June and July at Monona Terrace. Local cultural groups and performers provide hands-on fun and learning.

In the event of inclement weather, program will be moved inside. Please call 608-261-4000 after 8:30 a.m. the day of the event for program location. If transporting kids by bus, please call 608-261-4062 at least 48 hours prior to the event.

Celebrating Youth

Come to Monona Terrace on Sunday, January 30, 2011 from 11am to 5pm and join the Wisconsin Youth Company for the 12th annual Celebrating Youth!, a showcase of positive youth development. This event celebrates the amazing talent and dedication of our youth, and gives them a chance to shine and share their passions with the public. Enjoy four stages of youth performances, a visual art exhibit, many activity areas for hands-on fun, and exhibitors with resources for youth and families.
