Celebrating Youth

Come to Monona Terrace on Sunday, January 31, 2010 from 11am to 5pm and join the Wisconsin Youth Company for the 11th annual Celebrating Youth!, a showcase of positive youth development. This event celebrates the amazing talent and dedication of our youth, and gives them a chance to shine and share their passions with the public. Enjoy four stages of youth performances, a visual art exhibit, many activity areas for hands-on fun, and exhibitors with resources for youth and families.

This year's theme is "Weaving the Web," highlighting the connections between all of us. Visit the "Global Villages of Wisconsin" activity area to explore and experience the arts of different cultures represented in our area. Participate in a group weaving project to create a tapestry of our community. Learn about spiders and how humans and insects are linked. Watch dancers and singers. Come and feel how appreciating and supporting the talent of our youth weaves our community ever closer together.

Celebrating Youth! is a fun-filled family event you won't want to miss! Visit www.celebratingyouth.org for up-to-date information or call 608-276-9782, ext. 23.
