Once we have a semi-accurate count, we can make recommendations of event spaces here at Monona Terrace that are appropriate and available on your ideal date(s). Our size lends us capabilities that few other Madison banquet halls can provide. You would have a dedicated event coordinator who would be on-site the day/evening of your event. We also have easy vendor access for setup and teardown.

We are all about “custom-fit” planning, so we can get you in the right room for your size and needs. For smaller gatherings, we recommend the Dane Room and the Wisconsin Room, which are suitable for up to 15 people or the Hall of Fame Room (48). From there we graduate to larger options, such as the Madison Ballroom, which can be divided into spaces accommodating  from 160 guests to 936 guests, depending on how it’s divided. The Community Terrace is a single area with high ceilings and a majestic view that is suitable for 350-400 guests. For massive banquets, we recommend the Grand Terrace (405) or the Exhibition Hallv (2,000). Keep in mind many of our larger spaces can be divided into smaller areas. Once your room is confirmed, we can start configuring. We off 8-rounds or 9-rounds for table placement, as well as long tables for a different layout or head table. Depending on the room, we can set up cocktail stations, lounge areas, a dance floor, and/or an elevated stage for speakers and presenters. Regardless of your room, full catering services are available. No other venues in Madison offer such range and flexibility.
