Brief Description:
This is routine manual and unskilled work involving the performance of a variety of custodial and set-up/tear-down activities for events at Monona Terrace Community & Convention Center. The work involves working cooperatively with other operations' team members to ensure that customer needs are being met and having regular contact with the general public and customer.


Guest Services Attendant (Hourly)
Salary: $10.79 per hour

Brief Description:
Perform varied public contact services for events, meetings, conferences, conventions and other activities held at the Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center. Under the direction of the Event Services Manager and the general supervision of Event Coordinators may be assigned to staff such functions as coatcheck, public information desk, gift shop door checker, badge checker, service desk and other related event services. Work with other Monona Terrace staff to ensure customer needs are being met. Perform routine cash handling and light clerical duties such as xeroxing, collating, faxing and message delivery. Perform activities either independently or as part of a team. Perform related work as required.
